The
European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) is the most prominent centre for development and learning for the public sector in Europe. EIPA counts 25 years of experience and specialises in European Decision Making, European Policies, European Public Management, European Union law, Regional Affairs and Public Financial Management and offers the opportunity to public sector academics and professionals to learn and develop skills within a multi-cultural environment.
EIPA currently runs four projects:
European Public Sector Award,
Common Assessment Framework (CAF),
Regional School of Public Administration (ReSPA) and,
Euromed Market Programme.The RCPAR was a participating partner in the
4th Annual Conference of the Western Balkans HRM Community of Practice in the Civil Service , organised by the
Albanian Government Department of Public Administration (DoPA), the
Training Institute of Public Administration (TIPA) and the Western Balkans Community of Practitioners on Human Resources Management in the civil service (HRM CoP) in partnership with the the
Regional School of Public Administration (ReSPA).
The RCPAR is also involved with EIPA's CAF project through one of its leading
Multi-Country Activites,
Improving quality of public management through application of the CAF model (IQUAL). RCPAR Network Members involved with the IQUAL will also be attending the
2-day CAF training for EFACs in Maastricht, Netherlands, on on 1 and 2 March 2010, organised by EIPA.
